Overview

Once your invoice is approved, Toku processes your payment according to the schedule and method you’ve set up.

Payment Flow

Invoice approved

Your client approves your submitted invoice

Payment scheduled

Payment is queued based on the payment schedule

Toku sends payment via your preferred method

Funds arrive in your account

Payment Methods

Bank Transfer

  • Direct deposit to your bank account
  • Processing time: 2-5 business days
  • Supports most countries and currencies

PayPal

  • Sent to your PayPal email
  • Processing time: 1-2 business days
  • Standard PayPal fees apply

Cryptocurrency

  • Sent to your crypto wallet address
  • Processing time: Same day (network dependent)
  • Supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others

Stablecoin

  • Sent to your wallet address
  • Processing time: Same day
  • Supports USDC, USDT on multiple networks

Setting Up Payment Methods

Go to Settings

Click Settings in the sidebar

Select Payment Methods

Click Payment Methods

Add your method

Choose and configure your preferred method:
  • Bank: Enter account and routing numbers
  • PayPal: Enter your PayPal email
  • Crypto: Enter your wallet address

Set as default

Mark your primary payment method as default

Processing Times


Payment Schedule

Your client sets the payment schedule:
  • On Approval — Paid immediately when invoice is approved
  • Weekly — All approved invoices paid weekly
  • Bi-weekly — Payments every two weeks
  • Monthly — End-of-month payments
Check your engagement details to see your payment schedule.

Tracking Payments

Payment Status

Payment History

View all past payments in Payments > History:
  • Payment date and amount
  • Payment method used
  • Invoice reference
  • Transaction details

Payment Notifications

You’ll receive notifications when:
  • Your invoice is approved
  • Payment is processing
  • Payment has been completed
  • There’s an issue with payment

Troubleshooting

Check that your payment details are correct. Update if needed and contact support to retry the payment.
Bank transfers can take up to 5 business days for international payments. If it’s been longer, contact support.
Check for any fees (PayPal fees, bank fees) or withholding that may have been deducted. View payment details for breakdown.
